These were a gift given to me used from my dad, he knew I didn't need high quality headphones but that I was traveling enough noise canceling would be nice, and of course he was getting better. When first getting them I was pretty skeptical of how well they would work, and overall it seems it was warranted. First off the over ear fit is not what I would expect from a noise canceling system, as it doesnt cover the ear at all but just goes on top of it, somewhat snug but nothing amazing. Next is the actual noise canceling device, as the headphones seem completely dependent on electrical canceling there is the little box on the cord down from the headphones that is used to control the noise canceling. While not big it is quite annoying and considering the headphones do fold down pretty well, it just gets in the way of packing it. The noise canceling itself really doesnt cancel anything, it just dulls some of the lower and high ranges, and leaves a constant buzzing in the ear. Finally they are cheap, and mine already broke on one side making wearing it extremely difficult. I would recommend put some money in and get good ones.
