Great looking body but still leaves you shaking your head wondering why you bothered.

The Bottom Line: Walk away from this camera unless you only use ISO100 and have a perfectly lit photo studio.

A Fun, If Flawed, Friend

The Bottom Line: The best travel camera there is. But think real hard if what you want is a social camera.

Review: The camera recommended to me was the Leica D-Lux3. Panasonic's DMC-LX2 is the exact same camera, including the Leica lens, without the pricey Leica name.

Amazingly capable & creative compact camera

The Bottom Line: Overall image quality doesn't win the prize here, but the unprecedented level of control and widescreen features in a compact blow away the field.
