Almost perfect

This could have been a great phone with just a few more options. It is well designed, the cordless handsets are excellent, especially for 4 lines. The headset option is great. The buttons are large, and easy to use. The speakerphone is loud and clear. The intercom and transfer features are wonderful, and is very effective.

The obvious missing features, that could have been accomplished with very little change to the design. How could a phone with this price tag not have a MUTE button. You would think that people get this because of the flexibility, so not having a mute is a major flaw.

Another missing feature, this is buried in the program, is the handling of area codes on the calling ID. One has to hit the PAUSE/EDIT button to set the area code for each number.

Another area, is that when the call list is cleared on one phone, it has to individually cleared from each handset. That should sync up. That is a feature that one could live without, but it would be convenient on multiple handsets.

The use of a scratchpad requires several button presses and when you are on a call and want to do that, it requires a lot of interaction with the phone.

All in all a good phone, but the missing features are very crippling.
