Author's Review

Bought this unit at COSTCO for $300, previously had cheap Liteon unit but it would not play ,many discs. This Panasonic unit functions quit well. I record VHS to DVD. Menus are straight forward, and Discs play well.
One snafu so far is recording Sony Hi-8 analog tape to Disc, could not get disc to play on computer drive, however I am still working on this, I had used S video and that may have caused this or maybe did not finalize disc properly.

On balance I am satisfied with performance so far, there is helpful product support through Panasonic, get to talk with American Technicians,

Still learning unit though.
