This film surprised me

I didn't see this one in the theater. I hadn't heard great things about it. But Finally I gave in and rented it, and boy was I surprised. The casting for the animated characters was perfectly done. I had no problems picturing William Shatner as the mayor or Chris Rock as a police officer. Laurence Fishburne was, of course, perfect as always :)

In the live action sequences, Bill Murray reminded me a lot of his character from "Caddyshack." Still, he did well and worked perfectly for the role. Chris Elliot seemed a little bit out of place, though.

Even though the movie occasionally gives in and goes for the gross-out jokes, a lot of the humor surprised me by being fairly intelligent, which is something you don't see often in animated releases nowadays.
