Absolutely the best SUV I have owned thus far
Pros:
Third seat
Bose Radio
Cons:
Bad radio reception
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend the Pathfinder to anyone looking for an SUV. I have owned several and it wins hands down.

Author's Review
We bought a boat last year, so of course we had to have a nice SUV to pull it with. I test drove virtually every SUV in our area under $40,000. I finally narrowed my choices down to the 4runner and the Pathfinder. I chose the Pathfinder for several reasons. First, I loved the bronze/brown color that no other company in our area was offering. Second, the wider body style appealed to me.
The most important reason I chose the Pathfinder was the the third row seat. I only use it two-three days per week. It is cramped and not really made for adult transportation, but for field trips and hauling my sisters kids around, it is perfect. The rear seat lays down when not in use, and the surface is nice easy to wipe hard plastic. In my last SUV the seat would collapse, but the entire area was carpeted. That did not clean up well, and the carpet always seemed to have an odor from all the sporting equipment stored back there.
I like the sound of the Bose radio system, and the in-dash 6 cd changer is great. The sound is definitely top of the line, but we have to listen to CD's most of the time. The radio reception is terrible. If you are under an overhang, the radio will not pick up at all.
A couple other things that we really like are the mult. cup holders and the rear heat control.
