Fun MicroGame Game

by   kjscrafts ,   Dec 27, 2007

Pros:  Great game to play when you are bored no matter how little time you have

Cons:  Takes a lot of one player play to unlock multiplayer

The Bottom Line:  Great variety of games to keep you from getting bored and fun multiplayer mode once unlocked.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

This game is filled with a variety of mirogames and levels to play. Microgames are like mini games, but much shorter. Each microgame only lasts a few seconds or so. These microgames are first unlocked by played the levels, which have you beat several microgames and then a boss stage to complete. Once the microgame has been played you can play just the microgame(s) you want by going to Temple of Form in single player mode. Here you can choose the microgames you want to play based on the type of form (way you hold Wii controller) used or level the microgame is in. The microgames vary from you lifting weights to flapping wings to fly and so much more.

After you beat some of the levels you unlock games that are longer and like actual mini games such as can shooter in which you shoot cans. There is also my favorite one called Tower of Tennis in which you try to keep the ball from getting past your paddle by hitting it up and not getting stuck by obstacles.

After you beat all eleven of the normal levels that use just the Wiimote you unlock a level that uses both the Wiimote and nunchuck, which adds some more fun microgames. At this point you also finally (can take several hours of the one player mode to get to this point) unlock the ability to play the game multiplayer. This also unlocks the first of the special elephant levels that will challenge you even more at mastering the microgames.

My favorite feature is the Dr. Crygir kelorometer mode that is unlocked if you beat the level that uses both the Wii controller and nunchuck. In this mode you get 20 different microgames in a row that works kind of like a workout. It is a fun way to burn off some energy when you have some free time.
