Product Review

My Ideal Settings for the D200

by   drbelt ,   May 17, 2006

Pros:  The best digital SLR, for the money, on the market.

Cons:  It is a very complex piece of equipment that requires time to master.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

You can read many, many reviews of the D200 in terms of build quality, etc. I sold my D70 (a great camera) and bought the D200 and after about eight weeks I finally found the settings that gave me the best clarity, color, and saturation. Here they are JPEG File: Large ISO 100, Saturation -, Color Mode III, Adobe RGB, Sharpening +2. For several of these you need to go to the Custom setting. Prior to using these settings my shots were all very soft and, well, bland. Now they have snap. I am so very pleased with the D200.
