Maps old but a great help

I bought this as a gift for my fiancee for her cross country drive this past christmas and I am very happy with the purchase. It gets me from point A to point B like I wanted. The suction cup keeps the unit in place and has been helpful if the roads are old. There are a few problems. First, the maps are at least 2 years old so their guides aren't as useful as I would like. Many times, suggested restaurants, stores, etc have ceased to exist. Furthermore, stores less than 2 years old will not show up on the device. The unit also fails in downtown Dallas with its many sky scrapers.

Good mounting base, gets you from points A to B with ease, good value.
Cons
maps are old. suggested stores, restaurants, motels often no longer exist. New stores aren't listed.
