Well, I went searching for reviews thinking that people would be satisfied with the book and to my surprise many on here are not(at least here). I bought the book because I started reading a friends book at work and it was discussing everything that I have concluded about the industry. I bought my own newer edition and there is not one thing I dislike..
Well... I believe it is an AMAZING book that combines everything that I have learned in College(university)We learned about those deadly ingredients and you can look them up anywhere and get the same results. I now read the labels and pick my foods accordingly and I poop like it's no bodies business (it really isn't but you don't know me so who cares). The new version of the book DOES give references and different websites you can go to to get information on specific things/ailments without signing up for the website etc. Just do what he says and SEE how you feel, it WILL be different without the extra costs. It's logical; you eat less poisons, your body won't have to work as hard and won't take attention off of places that need special attention(when that happens you get disease). He tells you what these poisons are and you can look them up YOURSELF. STOP BEING LAZY. I believe he may have done this in the new version because of the complaints about references and to prove it is true, but regardless...people want a quick fix and I believe that is what society has brainwashed us to believe to be the answer. Advertisements say that everything can be solved in seconds either by a pill, detergent or SOMETHING to save us time in our hectic lives. If you don't know that things logically happen slowly overtime, than you have other issues to begin with. People that did not like this book on this review want that quick fix for the problem they caused over time by eating disgusting FOOD. They don't want to change the bad habits they just want a clean slate. This is exactly like people getting liposuction and still eating a lot.(YOUR GONNA GET FAT AGAIN goodness!!!, EAT LESS, EXERCISE AND IT WILL SLOWLY AND GO AWAY AND STAY OFF) IF YOU DON'T CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, NOTHING WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. It only takes common sense to know this but it takes the necessary information to implement it thats what Kevin does. Kevin lays it out so you can understand why things are happening to you. Use this book like a tool, not a pill.
