BE THE BALL!

NBA LIVE 2000 is one of the best sports games I've ever played...and I'm not ever a big basketball fan. Just the basics of this game are fun...not to mention the EXTRA FEATURES!!! And if you don't have an analog controller with the shockwave capability...GO GET ONE NOW BEFORE YOU BUY THIS GAME!!!

1) Play as any NBA team against any other NBA team in a single game, season, or playoff series. The graphics are amazing. Players actually look like the person they are supposed to be...AND THEY'RE ALL HERE!!! Players yell at each opponents and at each other when mistakes are made, etc. It's almost like watching the NBA on NBC. And the game play...WOW! The dunks and moves in the game are trade-marks uniquely fashioned players we all know and love (or hate).

2) Practice with any one player on the court. Practice moves, shots, dunks. Get the hang of the game before you start. Want Shaq to break the glass when he slams one home...you gotta practice!!!

3) Trade players...with or without a trade deadline.

4) Start from scratch and put together your dreamteam in a draft.

5) Achieving certain goals like a player reaching a double-double or a triple-double in stats or even beating the opposition by 10 points, etc. allows you to unlock the all-time greats...like Magic Johnson, Byrd, and the like...if you want...put them on your team. FANTASTIC!!!

6) Play one-on-one as any player with Michael Jordan. OR switch it up. Play Tyrone Lue of the Lakers again Mugsy Bogues of the Blazers. ROCK ON!!

7) The only down side to this game is that you can't create players from scratch...so you won't see yourself or your best buddy running up and down the court with Vince Carter or Allan Houston, but whether you're a basketball fan or just a video game fan, this is one that you shouldn't pass up.
