NBA 2K is taking over the basketball gaming world!!!

I have been a avid NBA live fan since 92 and never thought I would see the day that I would ever admit that 2K sports produced a better game. Just in the last two years NBA 2K has improved drastically to the point where now 2K8 is as realistic as it seems possible. NBA live 08 is still a great game but there has been little or no improvement in the last few years. The biggest advancement in 2K8 is the association mode it gives you the ability to set roles for players. You can set them as a sixth man, role player, prospect or bench player. You can downgrade a starter which will cause them to want to be traded, which could lead to better opportunities for the team. The play calling is even better than last year and it makes it easier than ever to set whatever plays you want without pausing the game. My favorite part about the game is the fact that they finally created a dunk contest that is realistic and easy to operate. There is a lot more props and possibility for several dunk combinations. There are only a couple problems with this new game the music selection is horrible I had to shut it off because it was so annoying. The other thing is that the computer doesn't play good enough defense which makes it harder to stop your opponent from scoring on game play. I love the game and it has now taken over the weekend tournaments with me and my friends.
