Moby Wrap 9856 Baby Sling/Wrap

I received this wrap as a hand me down from a friend at church, and didn't think I would use it much. However, one day my baby was being especially needy and I had to get dinner cooked, so I decided to give it a try. I was amazed at the results and am hooked on my wrap now. Between this wrap and my infantino sling (which I like better for walks) I have my two favorite products out of everything I have bought or received for my little girl. My husband and I both use this wrap and it is very comfortable, it evenly distributes the weight of the baby over both shoulders as well as your back, so you can wear it longer than other carriers without getting sore. There are many options for how you can carry your baby, facing you facing out or even on your back. There are great illustrations on the moby website (mobywrap.com) that show many different ways to use the wrap. Learning how to tie it on was easy and quick. My daughter seems very secure in this wrap, and I never have to worry about her falling out or sliding down. You can wrap the baby up enough to hold their head and arms in or just enough to keep the baby secure, so it is very versatile. I haven't tried nursing in it yet because my daughter struggles with nursing, but have heard from others with the same wrap that it works well for discreet, on the go nursing. The only downfall to this wrap is that the combination of the the wrap tied all around you and the babies body heat can make you very hot, but this is a minor price to pay to keep baby happy. The best part of all is that you can keep your baby with you more of the time and have interaction and help your baby feel loved even when you have household chores or other things to attend to. This wrap can be used from birth until 35 pounds (though I don't know if I will use it quite that long)
