Midnight Clubisitis

This game rocks.
I purchased this along with one other racing title (Smugglers Run) once I obtained my PS2 and I first spent much of the time playing Smugglers.
To be totally honest, I popped this title in a few times and set it aside. I mean, the graphics were beautiful and everything seemed okay, but it really didn't seem to in depth... boy was I wrong. After watching my daughter and nephew playing one afternoon, I regained some interest.
This game is a riot. The frame rate must be close to 60fps and the screen, even cluttered with pedestrians and other vehicles, never seems to get choppy or slow.
There is a ton of secret passageways, jumps, and streets to find, and playing with others is a blast.
Control is precise and realistic. The gameplay is addicting once you get into it and the sound is beautiful, turn up the bass and feel your engine.
I can honestly say I am currently suffering from Midnight Clubisitis. Replay value is out of this world for this game and there is no better way of relieving stress after a hard day at work than driving a vehicle 100 miles per hour through New York City.
