Truck Driver

Many units used in my days. Some junk others still with me. This surprising little unit is the real deal. No sacrifice on either the portable mode or in the vehicle combined with a Lil' Wil antenna.
I've used it in the winter as well as summer witch we all know has everything to do with just how far you can reach out and touch someone. So far in the winter a outstanding 8 mile (distance)winter chat fairly clear squelch open. And summer time across town chats of 3.7 miles. truck stop to truck stop with everyone amazed that it was hitting as hard and clear as it was. Several come to check it out and many have actually purchased for themselves as well as family members.
I use it while on the road or camping and no matter where I've been this little stinker always performs. When in mobile function I have it in my four wheeler.Dodge truck. I have several hundred tied up in my unit for the big truck and this one for what it cost is a better unit dollar for dollar. But when in the big truck I really like to get out. As for recommendation absolutely.
As I get older and older I get grumpier and grumpier. Everything costs more and is constructed cheaper and cheaper. Heck I remember when a pick up truck had plastic on board it meant you were hauling water barrels not components of the actual vehicle. So to impress me with a purchase simply does not happen often at all if ever now days.
