You may also pickup MS Points at such retailers as Target, Wal-mart, Sears etc. Finally you may also purchase them online as well. You may purchase them at ebgames.com, gamestop.com, xbox.com and so on. Getting a hold of some MS points will not be a problem as they are pretty much anywhere you go in an electronics section in a store.
You may also purchase MS points right over xboxlive and receive them instantly on your account. That is the method I prefer the most, because I get them right away.

If you own a 360 and have Silver or Gold xboxlive service MS points are a must. You will be missing out on one of the best reasons to own an xbox 360 if you pass up MS points. The movies and TV shows are of great quality, the xboxlive arcade library is getting bigger, and better every Wednesday. You would also be missing out on a lot of game content that can add enjoyment to existing games you may own such as: Additional levels, better weapons and map expansions.
Of course if you own a Zune you pretty much need the MS points to expand your music library.
MS points are definitely worth the asking price for all of the services they may provide the user.
