Great to learn to keep in shape!
Date of Review: Jul 17, 2000
I may be young, but I like to work out. I didn't exactly know what to do except, pick up a dumbell and start lifting. I got a couple of magazines like this one before, but they didn't thoroughly explain how and what areas the workout target. This one I got in the summer....and I needed it, I was in ok shape, but not for the beach! So I read some articles, I found one on abs and how to get the best abs in a simple workout....and what do you know! I got some great abs know, a six-pack actually. I also wanted to work on my upper body strength, because I played baseball...I was one of the fastest runners, but not one of the farthest hitters, although when I was in a good mood I could knock it out there. So I checked some of my issues and sure enough there was an article talking about how to do curls, and a dead-lift (which also helps your back out). I kept focusing on my upper body, and after about a week I could definitely tell the difference! I recommend this magazine for anyone who is out of shape really bad, or just wants to tone up for the beach or sport.
I read a comment not to long ago, about a man that had three back operations. I would like to say that I am 14, not very muscular, and could throw my own back out doing something I didn't know about, but this magazine explains it thoroughly, and even the weakest, most out of shape man alive good do some of the great workouts they have. They are simple and you are told what area the exercize workouts, and if you don't think you can handle it, then don't.
