Peppy, comfortable, good handling

The Bottom Line: The only reason not to buy one of these is that you'll have that silly "zoom zoom zoom" song stuck in your head all the time.
Review: I just bought a used 2001 Mazda Protege LX 2.0 with a sunroof, spoiler, CD player and alloy wheels. It's a pretty sweet little car.

I did have one problem though; about two weeks after I bought it the car overheated and I ended up having...

Cute but demanding

The Bottom Line: This is a good first car for someone who wants a little pep and doesn't mind getting his teeth jarred out of his skull occasionally.
Review: I bought a used Protege LX 2.0 (with automatic transmission) about 3 years ago. I liked a lot of things about it. It was in my price range, it had a sunroof, and it had sort of sporty styling.

Looking back, I'm still glad I bought this...
