Product Review

Got me this I/O at Staples in Nov, 05

by   cpc123 ,   Nov 29, 2005

Pros:  Flawless operation. Simple HW and SW Installation

Cons:  Internal - some might prefer an external drive.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

Author's Review

This CD/DVD RW Drive came NERO Express and works like a charm. IDE Installation was a snap - simply unplugged the NON-Lightscribe CDRW drive and plugged in the I/O Magic. Software installation was also a snap on an XP SP2 machine. About a year ago, I bought a BenQ internal DVD/CD RW Lightscribe drive at about a hundred and a quarter online. I found this I/O Magic to literally be the same model (BenQ is clearly marked on the I/O Drive in a very conspicuous place !!!) So, I was no stranger to setup, software installation/use and hardware functionality. This drive does lightscribe labels superbly. Highly recommended, so long as this I/O Magic is still a BenQ in disguise.
