The Bottom Line: Do NOT purchase this. Life will be less stressful if you purchase any other brand. Problems with both the unit and support definitely outweigh any benefits of owning it.

Great product, I take it everywhere!

Review: I bought the Magellan 700 several years ago, and recently updated the firmware to the equivalent of a 760. I love this product, it always gets me where I need to go. It's a lot less expensive than an in-dash navigation unit.

The Bottom Line: Of the GPS units available at the time, the Magellan RoadMate 700 was the best although we are looking forward to improvements, hopefully some that we suggested.

The Bottom Line: Probably better choices. Some inaccurate maps. $99 per year updates (and your NEW unit may need a map update). When it does work for your route, it is nice.
Review: I probably need to read more of the manual (on CD only) as I don't know how to get it to eliminate a freeway or section of a freeway (today and last Friday, the freeway was closed due to bad accidents...if you get off the freeway, it automatically...
