Author's Review

I have recently rented this game and its awesome!!!!!!!!!
What is the object of this game, to have fun of course. It's almost like GTA in the sense that you can do whatever you want and there's missions as well. I stayed up very late for the past several nights now. My friends liked it and I like it. This is one of those games that you have to play for a long time before you get burnt out on it. The towns and outpost look realistic. The towns look like they have been in a war for sometime. So as far as realistic looks and how they would look this game covers it pretty darn good. The reason you came here is because of a coup in North Korea. General Song kills his dad as the begening of his coup. He is a evil person that is not doing good to the world. This is the reason you cam to North Korea to take out General Song and his Followers.

The question that is asked the most, what kind of game is this, how do you play, well I’ll tell you. This is a war game, but not any game you’re a mercenaries. Someone that is hired not for favor or liking but money and support. There are all sorts of places that you can be driving or running by and there will be a battle going on. When you’re walking you have the basic commands but they are pretty smooth. You can hold two weapons walk and run. You use this by the joystick not the D pad. When you’re in a light vehicle you use the x button for acceleration. But when you’re in a heavy vehicle you use the analog and don’t even use the D pad. The only time you use your D pad is when you want some support, or your menu option. If your in a vehicle you can honk your horn and your allies will go inside your vehicles and man the weapons. But when your on foot you can’t summon anyone you have to run or take cover and shoot or blow people up. Use a grenade or, a bazooka or, a covert machine gun, you can even bust out a sniper riffle from long range and snipe out your enemies. You have many options as where you can go. It’s not a city like GTA but countries and territories. You will find factions patrolling certain areas except North Korea. You can find them anywhere. This is because they have underground tunnel systems to get anywhere they want. Unless you blow them up. There are towns and bases that you can drive by or through. With mountains, rivers, highways, dirt roads, basically the country side. The people actually look like people. They did a good job on making the graphics look how there suppose to. When you throw a smoke grenade for support and a helicopter drops a car or supplies the smoke will blow away. If you blow up a car there will be flame coming from the car. You can blow up buildings wich look like the shows you see when a huge building is being torn down. The bottom line is they did a good job on the graphics according to the realistic way. Depending if your in the Chinese or the Mafia zone the people will talk Chinese or Russian. It’s kinda the same way as GTA. You can accept contracts form different factions. Or some little side jobs which can be cool, but are ussauly pretty dull. Then you can run around and blow stuff up for extra money as well. When you enter a battle there will be the sound of explosions and gun fire going of, sometimes with the sound of a vehicle getting blown up. While having the sound of your engine at full throttle flying don the road as you hear the sound of RPG rockets or a 50 caliber chaining you down as you drive past. As far as action goes you are usually pretty occupied. But there are those occasions of driving a long way to where you have to, or want to go to. But there is almost always something to shoot at. It’s a pretty exciting game. When your running around there are blueprints and national treasurers that you can find. When you find a certain amount you can unlock cheats, or vehicles, or some new supply. But there are weapons, guns and ammo, vehicles and all sorts of things that you can find.

When it comes to gameplay it is a little tricky at first. But what the heck you get used to it after a little bit of playing. It can be a little difficult when fighting though.

You are a mercanarie that has come to....make allot of money. In this game there are people with huge bounties that you must capture or kill for large amounts of money. There are a couple factions that have a styll like the original GTA as far as favoring you or hating you. You have North Korea, wich is always your enemy. Then there's South Korea, China, the Russian Mafia, China and the Allies. For those last 4 you must do missions and kill opponets of a faction for more favor. There are also little side jobs that you can do as well, to make some extra cash. Then there is a menu option that you can call on air strikes, C4, supply drops, vehicles and much more,(For a small fee from your account of course) but it's worth the money. When you are about dead the game goes really slow and odd. But it's to help you not die. When your life get's to 20 the game gets slow. This is to help you survive though. So when your about toast you have this mode kick on that is very helpful. When you do die you start out in the MASH camp. You will appear here but it's not free it requires money just like GTA.

You also have a cool menu selection as well. Or the GPA that you get in the very begening of the game. You have a map so you know where you are. You have a email option to see the latest info or hints. Then you have the faction page that tells you how the factions feel toward you. Then if you have a good side withe the Russian Mafia you can order stuff on the black market. You can order vehicles, Supplies, and air raids or artillary aid if you choose or other things simular.

You must be carefull on what you do as far as running around. If you shoot soldiers from a faction they will turn angry towards you. But this is a good way to gain favor from another faction. However you must kill a soldier so the other army can see it. If you run deep in a territory and kill people the other factions probebly won't see it. If there are soldiers in a faction that are friendely toward you you can summon them. You can have them jump in the vehicle you are drivng. Not to mention you can hijack vehicles that other people are driving so it's allot like GTA in the way of taking cars. The same as jumping out of them. You will be stoped when you jump out but your vehicle will still be mobbin down the road.

The sound is alright but it could have some better music. But as far as the sound of gunfire and explosions it sounds alright. One unique thing is the way people talk. If you talk to a Russian person they have a Russian voice,
if you talk to somebody that's Chinese they will talk in Chinese.

When it comes to the graphics it's pretty good. When your watching a movie like during the begening it is pretty good. Explosions are realistic and the weapons are realistic as well. You can run around with a assualt riffle, RPG, and lay down C4. There are a bunch of vehicles as well. If you have a powerfull enough weapon you can destroy monuments, buildings, and all sorts of stuff, it's almost endless. The graphics are realistic though wich is awesome. There are scout vehicles, tanks, helicopters, and many more other awesome vehicles. The scout vehicles and civilian vehicles are easy to control but the tanks are another story. When you have a lighter type of vehicle you can mob around in the booneys. and run over fences and bariers and such. But if you have a heavy vehicle you can run over other vehiclse and running over obstacles becomes easier. It's just the fact that when your in a heavy vehicle you pretty much have to stay on the roads. The tanks and other vehicles are equiped with weapons. You can get a 50 caliber, or a really powereful machine gun weapon, not to mention the huge rockets that shoot off from tanks.
There are 52 cards(or high bountied officers or generals) that you can capture or kill for extra loot. This is one of the objects of the game. These people are the ones that are causing all sort of chaos. You will get emails that inform you on any known Bounties and where to find them. When you are close to a card it will show up on your map. When you capture a member from the deck you have a airlift option. You must carry the person to the helicopter that comes to get them. If you kill them you just take a picture of the dead body.

I extremely recommend this to anyone that likes video games becuase of one fact this game is so AWESOME!!!!Anybody could easily get addicted to this game.
