Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman First Season Review

Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman is the best Superman series in my opinion. I bought the first season DVD set because it's a series that I always enjoyed watching. The cast was superb, there was lots of action. What's not to like?

In the first season, You're introduced to Clark Kent who isn't quite...well...normal. He wants to write for the Daily Planet but has super powers that he can't ignore. Whenever there is a call for help, he feels like he must answer. It's finally decided that he must have a costume to do his superhero duty. It's fun to watch him as Martha Kent makes several costumes and has him try them on.

The rest of the season progresses with him being hired at The Daily Planet, falling in love with Lois Lane and battling evil Lex Luthor who has fallen in love with Lois himself.

The season ends with Lex's death on Lois and Les's wedding day. A little bit of trivia for you, John Shea (Lex Luthor) was written off of Lois and Clark because he was having issues with commuting from New York to Los Angeles where Lois and Clark was filmed.

If you're a fan of Superman, you'll probably like this series. This was one of the best seasons of Lois and Clark.
