A great replacement for a ball mouse

I had to finally replace the standard ball mouse that came with my work computer. I had to clean it out on at least a weekly basis just to get it to work - and even then, it tracked poorly. Mice are one of those things that you don't want to have to think too much about.

I have had good experience with Logitech's cordless optical mouse on my home PC, but this review is for the corded version. It is not curved like most standard mice. The benefit is that you can use it if you are right or left handed. The drawback is that it doesn't "fit" the hand quite as well as standard mice, but since I have a Logitech mouse at home, I guess I'm pretty used to its shape.

It looks very nice, with its silver and blue color scheme and the red LED of the optical sensor. This is a wheel mouse, and you can also customize the buttons (I have mine configured so that when you "click" the wheel, it functions as a left double-click.

This mouse comes with a standard USB jack, as well as a PS/2 adaptor. I have it going into a USB port, and it works just fine.

I have not had any problems whatsoever with this mouse.
