~ Fantasy Fragrance~ Curve for men by Claiborne
Date of Review: Aug 31, 2003
The Bottom Line: This is a great buy & a great scent for men!
Curve for men was introduced in 1996 by Liz Claiborne.
The scent is a classic mix of pepper, lavender (hardly noticeable but gives it a lighter air), mahogany, & amber (like its packaging).
A generous amount at 4.2 ounces gives you more bang for your buck. Expect to pay around 45.00 dollars a bottle, but holidays give you the pleasure of buying gift sets at a discounted price with extras such as travel sizes, after shaves, and lotions.
The packaging, like the scent, is fresh and practical. It arrives in a tin box, the saucy amber-green color gives you an idea of what to expect. Curve is splashed across the front in gold exactly like the bottle's style. The tin can be used to store everything including the cologne!
This bottle is a transparent amber-green glass that has no lid! Instead you get a plastic "stopper" that keeps the spray nozzle from expelling, great for travel or any other place where you might accidentally loose some scent. it sprays a liberal amount but isn't the least overwhelming.
I love this on men. Even though most fragrances "turn" on most people, this one is light and airy, mixing the senses and stays true to most any pH level. I recommend it for younger men since it is a lighter scent and at the cost per ounces-it's a complete steal!
