The Bottom Line: Great piece of work! Delivers all that the specs say its capable of delivering.
Review: I have used this Linksys router for over 9 months now with zero problems. I am normally one that has zero tolerance for failures :) so if there were any on this end you would hear em!

Works Hard but Not Long

The Bottom Line: Get it only in a super deal or with a replacement plan. Great router, but not very reliable.
Review: The Linksys BEFSR41 is a 4 port switch/router/NAT.

What does that all mean for you?

It means that it will connect to your broadband connection directly and be the only exposed computer to the Internet and allow for the 4 other...

Get the whole family online the CHEAP way

Linksys BEFSR41: Networking for Dummies (Like Me)

Easy Setup

Review: I took it right out of the box, applied power, connected the cable modem and two computers and it was running. I didn't even use the manual or installation disk. It can't get any easier than that. It has worked flawlessly since.

Doesn't play nice with BitTorrent

Good at home workhorse..

Review: Like all routers, they need to be updated and somewhat maintained - this one is no different. Been working decently for a couple years now. For typical at home networks this one works great, but for more demanding uses I would not recommend it.
