I Love This Movie!

Today was the first time watching this movie and I rented this on VHS. I really and truly enjoyed watching this movie.

This is a Walt Disney movie and I think the creator did a very superb job in creating this heart-warming wonderful movie. I think it is high time they make movies island style.

Directors Chris Sanders (the voice of Stitch) and Dean Deblois have done a very superb job in directing this cartoon movie. All of the scenes were well directed and there is nothing offensive that I can find in any of them. The cartoon is like a real life type of movie, though, it is animated.

Daveigh Chase plays the voice of Lilo who lived with her older sister (Tia Carrerre) and whose parents were either deceased or estranged, but she was a very cute little girl who was lonely without friends. The locals did not want to have anything to do with her because she happened to be different than them, but that did not stop her from living. She went out and bought herself a "puppy" whom she named "Stitch."

Even though Lilo was living with her sister, a social worker was consistently checking up on her because it was said that her family life was unstable and Lilo's sister was always trying to discourage the social worker from trying to take Lilo away. That social worker was a big huge fat man who wore an earring on one ear. He sort of cracks me up because he reminds me of Mr. "T" even though, this character was without the benefit of hair. And those dark shades. He too, reminds me of a spy man.

"Stitch" was actually an alien, but Lilo taught him some things that he soon adopted and became more a decent alien. The two of them were inseparable and they did alot of things together that two human beings of the opposite sex would normally do.

There was one thing that was an obstacle in both Lilo and Stitch's life and that was two very aggressive aliens who were consistently spying on those two. Those two aliens popped up everywhere Lilo and Stitch went, even when Lilo's sister got a job bartending. Those two aliens were trouble big time.

I think the scenery in this whole entire movie was absolutely beautiful. The crystal blue Pacific Ocean, the white-sand beaches, and the white billowy clouds that hung in the background among blue skies were really out of this world. It actually reminds me of Hawaii.

My favorite scene is the surfing scene. I think it is so cute when Lilo and Stitch went surfing with Lilo's older sister and her boy friend. The creator really did a very superb job in making those stunts in that scene. It's when Lilo fell into the water from the surf board, she was automatically thrown back onto the board, something that is impossible in real life, but this is part of the cartoon stunts.

The other scene I liked was when the social worker was trying to this time take Lilo away from her sister by placing her into his car, she broke free and the man never succeeded with her period.

I like the stunt in this movie when the house blows up, thanks to Stitch who was trying to save Lilo's life from those two aliens who were consistently spying on them both, day in, day out. And of the VW Bug that Stitch picked up and chucked at those two aggressive aliens. Man, that was really one hell of a stunt!

Despite of all the action involved in this movie, I highly recommend this movie for the whole family to watch. There is no profanity, nor sexual scenes involved in this. It is actually a good clean fun movie.
