Good Fan with one problem

The other reviews on this product were good but the reason I gave it two less stars was the ionizer, I got the Wind Curve Tower fan for the ionizer and the fan, but when I checked on the web about ionizers there were a lot of people especially a certain well known consumer magazine and others saying that ionizers probably didn't work or could be harmful. The fan was good but the ionizer was questionable. It is probably best that if you are unfamiliar with something like ionizers and other things to check the web to see if it is worth it, I usually check review sites like this one to see if the product is worth buying.
