Product Review

An okay heater, but not great

by   khanvsnooo ,   Feb 3, 2008

Pros:  Heats average size room quickly. Fan is quieter on low.

Cons:  Fan is LOUD on high. 1 rod is left burning on low. 3-prong plug.

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I purchased this heater at a local Walmart and when I got it home I immediately noticed the fan sounded as if it wanted to fall apart. Maybe I just got a defect? It was much louder then the comparable Holmes model not because of the rattling fan, but the motor in general. The thermostat doesn't seem very accurate. It turns on and off too often despite the room temperature hasn't and doesn't feel like it changed at all. I do like how the fan changes speed when set to low. I don't like how it leaves one quartz rod burning full power or uses a 3-prong plug. Other then that it heated the room fairly quickly.
