Sprint Rumor...a texting jewel

I have owned this phone since around Thanksgiving 2007. I was coming from a Blackberry so I didn't really have my hopes up to high when I purchased it. However, this phone has amazed me in some ways and I am overall very happy with my purchase.

If you are a texter at work like I am, you will love the Rumor. The QWERTY keyboard is a must for quick texting and the Rumor has a nice lighted one. The keys aren't too small so your fingers get used them pretty easily.

Applications work pretty well on the Rumor. I have used Spring Navigation and it has saved me many times! Sprint Navigation is another product worth what they charge for it, but that's for another review(lol).

The Rumor has a nice mp3 player on it with good sound but unfortunately you cannot use your songs as ringtones. There is room for additional memory and the phone automatically locks the keyboard when not in use for just a little while, so you don't call China by accident when the phone is in your purse, and that's a great feature.

Instant messaging is easy to use and comes loaded already on the phone when you get it. I have downloaded many ringtones and they sound pretty good.

This phone charged pretty quickly and the charge lasts a long time. The only problem really is the camera. The camera only takes good pictures outside in full sun.
