Not terrible.

I have tried a few different kinds of cloth diapers for my daughter. The Kushies appealed to me because there was no 'stuffing' of the diaper and I like the fact that only natural cotton would be touching her bottom. They also looked really easy and I was sure my husband wouldn't mind using them on her, and of course he didn't! They are super easy to use and when dirty just toss in the diaper pail, no taking apart at all! The velcro is easy to use and the natural color flannel lining hides stains really well.
The problems I found were the fact they they seam to leak a little bit as the elastic wasn't tight enough around my daughters legs. She is a breastfed baby so is a little thinner than some I guess. I also was disappointed in the boring patterns and 'typical' teddy bears, maybe they can look into changing the patterns someday, that would be nice. I never used them for night, was afraid they would leak, but did use the extra liners during the day for added protection against leakage. The dry time is a little lengthy, especially compared to microfiber diapers. Although, being cotton does allow you to use a diaper cream if desired, something microfiber diapers cannot take.
All in all, the Kushies diapers are a fair deal for the price, certainly a good bang for your buck if price plays a role in your purchase.
