The Worst

I got this machine because of the name, the price and reputation of the brand. However, I soon discovered that buying this machine was a major mistake. Fromthe very beginning, the grind was very uneven, beans would not feed into the burrs, the selector dials constantly stuck and that there really was not difference in the grind from setting to setting. You absolutely cannot use this machine if you want espresso; the grind is just way too coarse even on the fine setting. The opening the ground coffee comes out of is very small and difficult to clean. It also creates more static electricity than any other grinder I've used. Beans fragments somehow get into the well of the cover and causes it to stop before grinding is finished. Cleaning it is fairly easy(with the exception of the ground coffee opening); twist off the burr and brush and wipe it. However, that is the only thing I found positive about this product. Basically, I would not recommend this machine at all. Instead, I will wait to save up and then I'm going to go to one of the espresso websites (such a coffeegeek.com) and spend the money to get a good grinder. In the long run, it is cheaper to get a more expensive the decent machine than it is to get a cheaper machine. You will wind up spending more on replacement machines.
