Super sweaty, fun to watch, even more fun to do!

We purchased this "game" 2 weeks after Christmas after getting hooked on it at Christmas at my Mom's house. Now, my husband and I are about 30 or so and my Mom, well, that puts her at about 50 or so... Of course, she likes the music better than we do. She danced her way through the disco era.

Even if you don't dig disco music, you will find the beat making your hiney wiggle so that you stay in step to "stomp" the steps. In the beginning before we figured out exactly where to step, we found ourselves stomping on the pad trying to convince it to take our steps. DON'T! Take a second and figure out where the sensitive parts of the mat are and then practice! Your knees and the rest of your affected joints will thank you later.

This game is not as forgiving as guitar hero. In Guitar Hero, you can be a split of a hair of a second late for the strum and you hit the note. You still get "great" or "good" when you are close in DDR, but the greatest reward is when you hit it "perfect".

I have lived through gaming systems from the atari to the present and I have to say that I am in LOVE with the Wii system and how they are revolutionizing the gaming world to "get up offa that thing!" Dance Dance Revolution makes you do just that! Between the normal dance stage and the workout mode, our family is literally sweating off the pounds."

The only question I have is "will this really teach me how to dance?"
