The Bottom Line: This coffee maker will produce a perfect cup of coffee each and every time with no mess or clean up...
For years I would only use an Electric Perk coffee maker..I've tried several drip types and hated them, so I stopped looking..
I recently bought a vacation home and wanted a coffee maker that was convenient and quick..My husbands place of work uses the commercial brand Keurig and decided to give them a try..I absolutely love this machine..There are literally thousands of K-Cups to choose from...They range from a mild roast to a bold and also come in flavors..The filter within the cup itself makes for a great tasting cup of coffee..I also ordered the "make your own" coffee converter, which I did not care for because it defeats the purpose of the convenience of the machine, but works as a last resort...I took one more step and also purchased the "Perfect Pod Holster", which I found great..With this gizmo you can get pods from other coffee makers and use it in your Keurig..I paid $99.00 with free shipping from Keurig.. I now see that my model offers two serving sizes (7 and 9 oz)..The machine can also be used for just hot water when making tea or cocoa..I find the water is just the right temperature..The cup holder can be removed for taller or travel mugs..The reservoir holds 64 oz, but does not keep all of that water hot at once..The machine takes a small amount of water each time and heats it..The machine also has a 2 hour shut off button as well as a "self scaling" light indicator which will alert you when the machine needs to be cleaned
I only purchase the K-Cups from Amazon (100 for $40.00) with no shipping, however,Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Gloria Jeans and Linen n Things also sell them..
