Thanks to Kenmore Air Conditioner this Southern California home is cooled off

Date of Review:  May 29, 2005
The Bottom Line: The Kenmore is an easy to use Air Conditioner that keeps the bedroom cold day and night, but louder noise in the evenings.
Review: The last few days of April 2005 were eventful in my home. On the 28th I had a home burglary that occurred sometime between taking my children to school and returning from the gym after doing some errands. The following day the Sunbeam Air...

A powerful cooling unit.

Date of Review:  Jul 25, 2003
The Bottom Line: Definitely a good value for the price and the cooling power it has. Both thumbs UP!
Review: I bought this online at sears.com for $150.00. It was relatively easy to install, and surprisingly light. It comes with a remote control, which I personally have no use for, but nonetheless - it has a remote - and the batteries are even included!...

Cools OK but very noisy

Date of Review:  Jul 26, 2004
Review: This unit cools Ok but is very noisy. In "power saver" mode it clanks and clangs and swishes and gurgles on and off all night. The Kenmore "low profile, Plasmaire" model (which I have in the living room) is MUCH more quiet.

good unit

Date of Review:  Sep 19, 2004
Review: This unit is far above most quite. It has a remote for all the control jockies out there, but it cools nicely. Far better than the Maytag I bought for $75.

White Kenmore 5300 BTU Single Room Air Conditioner

Date of Review:  Aug 8, 2007
Review: We only needed a smaller room sized air conditioner and wanted to spend less than $150 so my husband thought he was doing good when he bought a Haier brand air conditioner. (It was unbelievably noisy!) I made him take it back. A couple of days of...
