Only Corded Phone that doesn't need an electrical outlet!!!

Thank goodness for Panasonic - it still makes an phone that I can use in the bathrooms and kitchens without having to have an electrical outlet nearby!!!

I have had its older version (KXTS25-W) which still is working after 22 years! No problems at all.

In fact, it was the only phone working during the recent rains in LA and when the power was out; all my other cordless phones connected to the electrical outlets did not work! And those corded phones (with the caller ID's) did not work either because of connected to the electrical outlet!

SO GOOD OLD STANDBY - Panasonic KXTS208W worked during the power-outage - of course, so did my cell phone - but nevertheless - if my cell phone battery went out - I could still rely on my corded Panasonic phone KXTS208W.

Sometimes you will get an tech which doesn't know their product features very well - I had asked several techs about this model without an AC adaptor - and they said that none was available. Lucky I went on the website for Panasonic which described in detail whether the phones need AC adaptors or not!!!

Also pro is that the customer service line is easy to connect to a "live" person who can help you in the technical department without having your phone within warranty period or expired warranty - it doesn't matter because the tech on the other line will always help you!!!I love that no matter how old the equipment is - they will help you solve your problem.

Also I can turn off the volume of the ringer - notice that many of the other phones cannot be turned off, only turn down low or high volumes.

Nice large buttons on the speakerphone volumes for increase and decrease. Great quality of speakerphone. I bought the AT&T 982 corded with battery phone and the other party could not hear me clearly and I ended up shouting at the AT&T speakerphone. I will definitely stick with the Panasonic.

The other features I don't use, so I cannot comment.
