Great Workout

The Bottom Line: Very good workout if you're willing to work hard
This DVD will definitely give you a great workout! I bought this DVD to get into shape before my upcoming wedding. I've been doing for it for about a month now (about 3 times a week) on level 1 and have lost about 5 pounds.
I was extremely out of shape when I started using this DVD. I had a hard time walking up a flight of stairs. The first time I did the workout, I didn't use weights and only got about half way through. The next time, I still didn't use weights, but I was able to get all the way through it. I am now using weights and I notice a jump in my stamina every time I do the workout. It seems to get easier and easier every time.
The workout consists of 3 blocks. Each one includes 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. Jillian says this is the best way to burn off fat in a short amount of time. There is a lot of getting on the ground and getting back up, so if you have bad knees, this is definitely not the workout for you. There are a few exercises that hurt my knees and I have nothing wrong with them.
The workout moves really quickly, so there's not much of a break at all for water. I make sure I have a water bottle right next to me so I can easily sneak a sip in between movements. You will definitely sweat a lot, so the water is a necessity.
This workout will really kick your butt and you will probably be sore for at least a day the first couple of times. It gets easier though and you will notice a difference. Even if you think you're in great shape, make sure to start out with workout one. Don't move up until workout one is very easy for you. Each workout is progressively harder.
Jillian is very motivating. She wants you to lose the weight. You feel like you're going to die, but she helps push you through it and encourages you not to quit. It's very helpful to have her encouragement throughout the video.
