Pros:  Fits my ready for downdraft kitchen.

Cons:  Grill rattles;elements will not let the cook be in control; hard to keep clean.

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I purchased this product because I was replacing an original Jennair downdraft model, and this would fit best. I was so excited to be able to cook better-faster and have more burners. I was somewhat disappointed with the performance. The burners do some wacky cycling instead of just staying at a reasonable temperature, even on high! This is very frustrating while cooking. The burners also 'see' the size of the pot and if it decides it's too big it will drop to a lower than selected heat. Making risotto is a nightmare, as my pan is larger that the burner size, and it keeps cycling to a lower heat during cooking.

I have 2 of the Radiant heat elements. And the new grill (I also have the grill from the old unit)rattles so much during cooking, that I have to place a heavy cast iron skillet on the grate in order to keep it quiet.
