Review: I don't know what these other people are doing with their sub, but I've had mine for about 7yrs and haven't had any problems whatsoever! It's wonderful! Great for watching movies with deep rich bass and music is off the hook! I love it!

JBL Sub-woofer failure (popping)

The Bottom Line: I do not recommend any JBL sub-woofer product, until JBL admits its defect issues on current product and remedies.
Review: It appears many have had the same problem I had. Bought the system, had it for 3 months before I moved to China for a year. Came back and within a month it began popping (deafening) like crazy. Works intermittently, but then begins popping again...
