Good KVM for Advanced user

Pros: Mouse button software doesn't hiccup when you which PC's.

Cons: The KVM peripheral switchable USB ports are only USB 1.1

This switch is great because it can bridge both PS/2 and USB PC's. I've yet to test one in the office with a Sun Micro/PC combo we have, so I can't say yet about that.
You will need to buy the extra PS/2 cable to connect an older PS/2 PC-- but it's worth the price. My older PC's are still useful, and I use them as much as my newer ones. You WILL need to plug in the transformer if you have a really fancy Keyboard (Mine has backlighting)
The switch side of the cable combines the Video/mouse/KB signals into one plug-in interface which makes the set that much easier. And importantly, the cable/switch is friendly to older monitors. (A IOConnect switch I tried once made my NEC Accusync monitor fade to black.)

A warning for Switch buyers-- Look at the Video Resolution support specs. Some of the cheaper KVMs will not support the larger, normal resolutions users need. Others really ONLY work with Flatpanels. CRT's may dim out or hiccup.
PS/2 adapters do not always work!
