Poor motor

we have tried 3 of these - 1st one wouldn't work after being stored for the summer and got a new one covered by warranty. Woman at hunter didn't seem surprised when i said it wouldn't run & without a fuss, took my address to send a new one. Again wouldn't start up after summer storage. Bought another one thinking they may have finally upgraded the motor and it just died, too. It was off for a couple of days since heat wasn't kicking on & when I turned it on, NOTHING. And you have to clean the filters pretty often. They claim it's okay with softened water, but the salt really builds up and eventually the aluminum corrodes away. Also, with this last one, got the "running water" sound as mentioned in another review. It did add moisture to the room while it lasted, though.
