Thanks House Beautiful!

This is one thing that I don't dread opening the mailbox and seeing! It is by far the best magazine out there on decorating your home. I have been subscribing to this magazine for several years and must give them credit for alot of compliments that I receive on my home.

My taste is very eclectic, but basically traditional french. House Beautiful fits my tastes perfectly. I am always getting new ideas and constantly inspired to change things up! (girls, you know what that gets me from hubby)

It displays all of the latest designer fabrics, as well as beautifully painted rooms. My favorite is the Feb. issue, and yes I am inspired!! I am getting to overhaul my bedroom as I write. The room on the cover of this particular issue is painted a creamy eggshell, and the furniture is covered with the deepest and richest wine chennele that I have ever seen. Of course all of the furniture is painted light in color to have the worn french look. Add a couple of antique sconces, some cheetah print pillows or chair, and at least two gold leaf mirrors and you can create this beautiful room easily! The finishing touch comes from a straight back chair that has a salmon colored velvet cushion. You don't really think about this color combination, but it looks so good together! I'm going to finish it off with a huge vase of multi-colored roses and hope I live to tell you about it after Sparko reads this!!!

I highly recommend this to any of you that love creating and designing as much as I do.
