Let me start off by telling you that electric heat is the worst heat to ever have. We own a co-op and we really did not have a choice on our heating system. For those of you who don't know how it works, the unit looks almost like a very large air-conditioner. We get our heat and air-conditioning from the same unit. It is all controlled by a thermostat inside the unit. Being that heat rises and the thermostat is located in the bottom of the unit, it is never really warm in here and the unit runs constantly. The heat that comes out of this until is VERY dry.

When you wake up in the morning, it is like you can't breathe and your head is just pounding. It is not a good feeling. So off we go to by a humidifier. We really weren't sure which one to buy, they all seemed to be the same to us, but, knowing that Honeywell is a good name, we bought that one. It was not to expensive compared to the others, about $59.00.

We got home and took it out of the box. There was nothing to put together. I just washed it down and my husband filled up the 3 gallon tank with water, we plugged it in and we were all good to go. There are 3 speeds that you can choose from so to start off with we put it on the highest speed to get some humidity in the air. After the first day, we left it on the lowest speed and we need to fill it with water every couple of days. I must say, it is a very quiet machine.

This honeywell humidifier has not failed us yet. I find it one of the best things we have ever spent money on. To wake up all winter long and never have to worry that I can't breathe through my nose to me makes this product indispensible.
