Another great value projector!
Pros:
Bought it at $799, 2500 lumens, auto keystone feature, dual VGA, zoom, replacement bulbs $300.
Cons:
The 1w internal speaker, remote is limited to about 25-30' range, longer cooling down time.
The Bottom Line:
Will buy this projector again if we need another. 2500 lumens, 1024x768 res, light, durable and quiet enough to not distract. Replacement bulb is less than $300.

We bought this projector for our 500-600 seat church auditorium 12 months ago. At 2500 lumens, it is bright even without a screen. The image looks perfect at 1024x768 XGA native resolution. Contrast ratio at 500:1 is adequate, but noticeable on darker videos.
The remote control range of 25'-30' is a true limitation for an auditorium our size. The projection distance is pretty standard and the zoom helps. For a good estimation on throw distances, use the projection calculator on http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator-pro.cfm. For shorter throw images, look for short throw wide angle lenses like the Optoma BX-AS108.
We've used the Hitachi CPX260 for both front and rear projection, and it is good for both. It would have been better if the remote range is longer. The ON-OFF switch is an unnecessary feature. Turning it off before the end of the cool down period shortens the life of the bulb. The price (less than $300) of a replacement bulb for this projector is affordable enough to always keep a spare on hand. Overall, a reliable projector with some limited features but a great price.
