Would not purchase again!

I purchased this printer about 9 months ago. I wanted a good quality color printer that could do other paper mediums. I recently started a small business and wanted to be able to print items such as business cards and sale flyers on it. If you intend to only print on standard paper then this printer does do a very good job. There are no specs, color blurring or shadow images on the page - the printed page is crisp and clear. Printing speed is adequate - a little faster than the typical deskjet's speed.

If you however intend to ever use this printer for heavier weight papers then be prepared for a multitude of different effects on the paper. The owners manual provides suggestions for adjustments you need to make in order to print on for example a card stock paper, however I found these suggestions to not help at all. The effect I normally see if that the print from the first half of the page is "shadowed" on the second half of the page on thicker paper.

This brings me to another disappointment. This printer comes with no paperwork, you have to go online for everything including the manual. The trend with anything computer related seemed to be for awhile that the manual's were arriving on a CD but the last few products which I have purchased I have had to go online for the manual. Good thing to know if you have setting this up on a computer which does not have internet access.
