Hewlett Packard LaserJet 1000 Printer

I've had this printer for about 5 years now and it has been a real reliable, accurate and durable workhorse of a printer.  It has never failed to print high quality, fast printouts, even printing multiple copies (20-30) at a time with no quality loss.

The one issue I did run into was with the installation software and drivers. It seems on a Win2K machine, it doesn't always install properly. Although with XP I've had absolutely no issues now. I have not tested it with Vista yet, but I will default to the other reviewers comment as he states it doesn't work.

Oh yeah, and there is no power on/off switch on this printer. You have to unplug it to turn it off. That would be the one thing I would have liked to see on this unit. Yippeee.

All-in-all I have to give it a good mark as the print quality is very good and I've only changed the toner out once!

I think I paid around 200 Canadian, and I feel I've got my money worth, as I'm not constantly changing ink cartridges in the inkjet machines. I would certainly buy another one if I had the chance.
