THIS PRINTER SAVED MY COMPANY!
Pros:
This printer is a WORKHOUSE and can handle just about anything
Cons:
Might be hard to find, I think HP has upgraded to a newer model
The Bottom Line:
This printer can handle small and large jobs. It's ideal for personal and small business use. Does not eat through cartridges.

Author's Review
I got this printer several years ago marked down at Target to $12. It's one of the best investments I ever made, and it saved me from losing an important account.
I have a small company that does corporate training, and I spent so long putting together a training manual for a client that I did not allow myself enough time for reproduction (plus I was low on cash!). I literally used this printer to print 30 copies of a full-color, 96-page manual! It took about two days to print everything, but it looked great and the client was happy.
This printer does not seem to eat through ink cartridges as fast as most. When I did the large job, I think I went through about six or seven of each cartridge which I didn't think was bad and cost me a lot less than a rush job at a place like Kinko's. Also, the cartridges are readily available at places like Target and Costco.
My computer is a Compaq Presario 1210US laptop, and the two are completely compatible.
I have never been happier with a printer. I also have a newer model HP DeskJet printer on another computer, but it's not as good as the older one (i.e. jams a lot, won't take cardstock, does not print straight).
