I thoroughly enjoy this rather dull-sounding magazine, which is a lot more fun than you might think at first glance.
That first reaction might tend to be a sarcastic "'health'? THAT'S a lively and fun-filled topic!" but once you actually read it it turns out to be quite interesting and informative with a wide variety of articles on many health topics, some interesting advice columns, health tips, etc.
I actually found it interesting enough to read even back when I was 16 or 17 (not an age renowned for interest in general health matters), which says something about the engaging quality of the magazine.
The writing is straightforward and easy to read but thorough, and the articles make sure to present the various sides of the treatments they discuss. There's a fairly balanced coverage of natural/herbal treatments as well as modern medical techniques, which is nice.
I enjoy the advice columns, in which columnists answer readers' questions about health issues, and the 'statistics' section (half a page of interesting statistics on random things, including the percentage of men versus women who clean their belly buttons every week).
Also useful are articles on nutrition, recipes, tips about the latest good/bad-for-you foods, and exercise techniques. The magazine is not too strongly focused on weight loss specifically in its diet articles, but stresses the importance of a healthy and balanced diet for everyone. They'll tell you all about the possible benefits of fish oil, the importance of sleep, ways to reduce stress, healthy and unhealthy habits, exercises to tone your thighs, and much more.
I do wish it came out every month, and as other reviewers have noted there are a ton of ads, but I enjoy all the issues I get and if you read a lot of magazines you get used to flipping through ads, so I don't really have any complaints about it.
I definitely recommend it for information on general health topics. It's very informative and easy to understand, as well as quite enjoyable to read.
