You get what you pay for!

I got this mixer a little less than a year ago as a gift.I have used it both as a stand mixer, and as a hand mixer. At first, I was happy with it. Notice: "AT FIRST" As I used it for different things, I realized exactly what an "un-gift" it really was. I tried to make whip cream, and the beaters were too far from the heavy cream to actually whip it! So, I had to put a kitchen towel under the bowl to raise it another inch and a half.Try creaming butter and sugar for cakes and cookies... Good luck! And as for it being lightweight...say that ten times fast while holding that fifty pound glass bowl, and trying to pour your batter into the baking pan!
