Best General Gun Magazine

I subscribe to many specialty gun magazines, such as "Varmint Hunter", "Precision Shooting", "Handloader" and several others. These other magazines concentrate on a fairly narrow range of gun related subjects, and do an excellent job. However, Guns and Ammo covers a broad range of topics, including handguns, rifles, shotguns, optics and accessories. New products from the entire industry are regularly reviewed. The authors are generally good and the reviews are accurate. They do not go into extreme detail in most cases but that is not the purpose of this periodical. It is an excellent source of information on what is going on in the industry. They also do a good job of reporting on the maneuverings of the gun control lobby. If you only have time to read one gun magazine, this is the one.
