Grey Goose Vodka

Most of the time I drink the cheap, gallon-size vodka. That stuff just makes you choke. I never understood how people could describe vodka as smooth, until I tried Grey Goose.

My friend decided to splurge and finally buy a bottle of the good stuff. I took a sip just to make sure the stuff was horrid. And I was surprised. It didn't taste too bad, a little metallic though, and went down without all of that horrible burning. So I took the whole shot. That burned, but not nearly as bad as any other vodka I've tried. Two minutes later, I was already all warm inside and slightly buzzing. Since I have a high tolerance for alcohol, I was surprised at Grey Goose's effects.

I'm still not a big enough fan to order a vodka martini with Grey Goose. I would be drunk before I finished half the drink, and the stuff isn't quite tasty enough to stand on its own. However, put in a mixed drink, this vodka goes down smooth and won't make you sick.
